Reason #55 Why to hire a wedding planner!

Congratulations to Chantal and Eric this weekend on their beautiful wedding at Three Sixty....

Ok reason #55 why to hire a wedding planner... Mother of the Bride's zipper of her dress broke! oh no .. oh yes it did... We went to 5 places to replace the zipper of the dress before the wedding was to start in 2 hours.. no one could do it in time....Not to worry Michelle had the matching purple thread to match her dress and stitched up the entire dress by hand! Needless to say no one knew a thing and it lasted the entire night.. Nice Save Pink Monkey!!!

Passionate about purple? When we met the teacher and assistant principal we loved their great happy and kind demeanor. Chantal told us that she loved the color purple and that she also wanted to used black so that is how our color palette was established.  We really wanted to make those fabulous purples pop against the sophistication of the black accent color. 

    

        

    

            

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

     

    

How to go from special to a little more than special?

We here at Pink Monkey Events get this question all the time: How do I make something that's already special, like specialty drinks or table numbers, even more unique and special?

Everyone wants their party to be the talk of the town, and now that specialty drinks are all the rage... it's not as unique as they used to be. But fear not, because we do have a solution! One of the many ways to make a specialty drink truly special is to customize your drinks' display. Try using colorful cardstock and fun frames that reflect your event's theme to add a little extra décor. Although it might seem like a small detail, it makes a huge impact and even more importantly it's something that's not commonly done. You can do something similar with table numbers as well. Why not name each table rather then just assigning it a number? You can use landmarks or titles that reflect the style of your event. Give each table a personality and decorate your signage with colors and patterns that reflect your theme (one of our clients used pictures of their pets as part of the table numbers, check it out below). To give it that specialty-flare, use thick frames to bolster its place on the table. Photographers love searching for the little details you pour your heart into, and more than not those little details will come out very photogenic. Shoe Style!

If the shoe fits wear it.... We love a wedding party that looks put together and we also love a wedding party with their own style. In this photo all these bridesmaids all wore the same soft celedon green bridesmaid dress but wore gold shoes that were all different to their own specific style. Even though they did not match exactly they look so coordinated fresh sassy and summery. Love this summer look well done ladies. Great photo Belathee Photography.
